Meet Kylie – a Program Manager at Microsoft, former Miss Washington International 2015, and a proud La Belle Elaine’s bride! Kylie is a Dallas native, who fell in love with both Seattle and her fiancé, Scott, 2 years ago when she moved to Washington for work. She’s a philanthropist, fitness enthusiast & avid adventurer – three of the things that drew she and Scott to each other when it all began.

Scott and Kylie met through mutual friends shortly after both moving to Seattle, and their spontaneity & love of adventure made them immediately inseparable. Together, they danced through the Seattle rain and made this seemingly foreign place home in a matter of months. A little over a year later on December 5th, 2016, Scott proposed in front of the iconic Space Needle.
Having been in pageants for nearly 10 years, as well as having been a bridal model, the bar to find THE dress was extremely high for Kylie.
She wanted to feel like she was a bride, not a pageant queen; the dress had to embody both her AND Scott; it had to be suitable for an outdoor wedding; there had to be WOW factor while exuding simple elegance. That’s quite the list of requirements for one gown! She searched for months online & on Pinterest, and went to stores & trunk shows all over the country (and Canada!) before a colleague reached out and told her to look at La Belle Elaine’s.
In April, Kylie came in to her first appointment at La Belle Elaine’s with her “pageant mom”, Margie. She met with stylist Geneva, and chose a handful from the rack that caught her eye. Right before heading into the dressing room, Kylie grabbed one last gown off the rack “just to try.” As fate would have it, that last gown gave her chills, and as she said, “was everything she didn’t even know she wanted.”
Two months later, after not being able to get that gown out of her head, her mom flew in & they said YES to the dress together. What a special moment!
In her words, “From the beautiful store & incredible gown selection, to the amazing staff (not to mention the fabulous runway!), I couldn’t have imagined a better experience for finding the gown of my dreams. I can’t wait to share it with Scott along with our guests!” Kylie & Scott are excited to tie the knot in July of 2017 at Trinity Tree Farms in Issaquah, WA in front of their closest friends and family.
